PUBLIC NOTICE
The RM has applied for designation through the Provincial Disaster Assistance Program (PDAP). While we await PDAP’s decision, we would like to remind ratepayers of the following important steps:

• Document all uninsurable damage
  • Photographs of the property
  •  Keep a detailed record of who assisted with cleanup and the hours spent.
• Record equipment usage:
  • If you use your own equipment, note the number of hours it was utilized.
  • If you rent equipment or hire a contractor for cleanup, keep copies of all paid invoices.
• Obtain an insurance denial letter from your provider, specifying which damages are not covered by your policy.

​No assistance will be provided for damage or loss to property that is deemed to be non-essential to the restoration of a home or means of livelihood or non-essential community services or anything that is insurable.
